Mark McClelland, Winner of Sculpture by the Sea 2008

Mark McClelland, second year student, completing an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery and Object Design from the Design Centre Enmore, has been awarded First Prize (NAB Sculpture Prize) of Sculpture by the Sea 2008 .
she thought measures 270cm by 430cm by 80cm and is constructed from mild steel and bronze. It can be viewed as part of Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2008 Australia’s largest annual outdoor free to the public exhibition of sculpture, staged alongside Sydney’s spectacular Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk. Featuring over 100 sculptures from 18 different countries it runs from 16 October – 2 November, 2008.
Mark McClelland will talk about his work process for his entry, she thought , for the sculpture by the sea 2008 on Wednesday 5 Nov 2008 at Room A108 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
